Job Description

The Senior Director Analytics is responsible for the development and execution of analytical strategies which have significant impact on the enterprise. The position leads a team of skilled analysts with responsibility for researching, designing, developing and managing new analytic products and new data sources for Prime and its customers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to staff ensuring the prioritization of strategic and department level initiatives to include defining performance goals andtargets

  • Communicate data findings, outcomes and strategies to cross-functional teams, Prime’s Executive Leaders Team (ELT), Prime’sclients and/or applicable network pharmacies

  • Oversee analytics teams to ensure solution aligns with end state goals/objectives and operationalprocesses

  • Develop standardization of new best practice processes, procedures, andtemplates

  • Drive transformation and process standardization, execution, and improvement for all analytic workproducts

  • Create cost/benefit, return on investment (ROI) analysis, product benchmarks and other financial reports and models to support the business, while offering critical evaluation on both strategic and financial impacts toPrime

  • Provide comprehensive and relevant program level analysis and reporting to Prime management through the oversight and leadership of the applicablefunctional area

  • Leverage extensive pharmacy benefit management (PBM) and Healthcare industry expertise to provide senior level strategic analytical consultative services to a variety of audiences (clients, technical teams, project team members, executives, pharmacies,etc.)

  • Assist in the identification of analytic project tasks and scope (resources, milestones, deliverables, and dependencies) in partnership with internal and external clients and ensure alignment to strategic and department levelinitiatives

  • Oversee and manage analytical vendors for owned products, if applicable

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance or related area of study, or equivalent combinationof education and/or work experience; HS diploma or GED is required

  • 10 years of combined work experience in project management, quality improvement and/or business analysis, to include experience in managed care or the pharmacy benefit managementindustry

  • 7 years of leadership/people managementexperience

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residencysponsorship

Additional Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, including team leadership, conflict resolution andlistening

  • In depth knowledge of pharmacy performance analytics, waste analytics, Specialty Pharmacy and MedicalBenefits

  • Ability to identify and implement consultative servicesopportunities

  • Ability to manage multiple, complex project simultaneously without compromisingquality ​

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Math or relatedfield

  • Experience in software product management such as SaaS or PaaS engagementmodel

  • Experience in Pragmatic MarketingFramework

  • Experience using multiple commercially available analytic tools andtechnologies

  • Experiencewiththedesignanddevelopmentofnewanalyticproducts(fulllifecycleexperiencefromconcept ideation todeployment)

  • Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning (ML) tools and deployment into analytics products

  • Experience with national quality metrics (e.g., PQA, HEDIS)

  • Experience with Medicare stars ratings, metrics and performance measurement ​

Minimum Physical Job Requirements

Reporting Structure

  • Reports to Assistance Vice President or Vice Presidents in the Analytics, Pharmacy & Network Services, IT and Service Excellencedepartments

Potential pay for this position ranges from $144,000.00 - $230,200.00 based on experience and skills. Pay range may vary by 8% depending on applicant location.
