Job Title: Service Technician -- Potential for sign-on bonuses -- Benefits -- Growth Potential!

Pay: $24 - $39 per hour depending on experience!

Job Description

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and/or mechanical petroleum equipment and products, including brands such as Gilbarco, Veeder-Root, Passport, and EVO. The role entails performing repairs and preventative maintenance on gasoline dispensers and related equipment, as well as installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining Point of Sale (POS) equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform repairs and preventative maintenance on gasoline dispensers and related equipment.

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain Point of Sale (POS) equipment.

• Monitor and ensure the accuracy of parts inventory.

• Analyze electronic and mechanical problems and provide necessary repairs.

• Install, program, and test new equipment.

• Communicate with customers and explain technical issues in common terms.

• Present oneself professionally and be prompt when making service calls.

Essential Skills

• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.

• 1 year of industrial maintenance experience OR 1 year of electronic installation experience OR 1 year of industrial electrical or electrician experience OR 1 year of military maintenance experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a petroleum service technician.

• Certification in Gilbarco or other dispenser services.

• Military experience, especially with fuel systems.

• Experience with electronic installation (e.g., Spectrum).

• Experience in electrical or maintenance tech roles, particularly those willing to work outdoors.

Work Environment

Work both indoors and outdoors at gas stations. Uniforms are provided. Hours are Monday-Friday with 10-hour days. Technicians have the flexibility to choose their service truck. The team size is typically 2-3 per location, and each site reports to a Service Manager.

The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $81120.00
