The Role
The Senior Lead Project Manager will oversee a variety of complex, business critical projects and programs designed to modernize and simplify Lumen. The projects will involve multiple business units and functional areas, including but not limited to telecom operations, product, legal/regulatory, marketing, finance, telecom network, process, IT, etc. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, and managing various initiatives to fulfill scope, timing, budget expectations and expected project outcomes. The person in this role must be highly experienced, have exceptional business acumen and a proven track record leading massive transformational projects and programs in a complex matrix organization, preferably telecom.

This role has been designated as fully remote, US.
The Main Responsibilities
Lead transformational projects and programs from end-to-end: From ideation through post launch monitoring and controlling.
Lead stakeholders in clearly defining expected project/program outcomes and measures of success. Creates project/program charters.
Assist as needed in business case development and refinement.
Develop, plan, document and manage execution of project milestones and tasks
Ensure timely project completion and delivery of all tasks and milestones; Actively work with stakeholders and the leadership team when needed to overcome roadblocks
Clearly articulate risks and escalate to leadership as needed
Draft and provide clear, crisp project progress and status reports
Lead project meetings, including creation of quality agendas and minutes
Works with leaders to manage program budgets
Utilize a change control process to manage changes to scope/deliverables and timelines.
Measure and document project outcomes.
Successfully hand off ongoing tasks to operations
What We Look For in a Candidate
Required
Bachelor’s Degree in project management, business administration or related field
7+ years of related project and program management experience
Broad experience managing a variety of project and program types, not just one project type such as IT.
Self-motivated, able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and clients in parallel in a time-sensitive environment.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with many types of partners from subject matter expert to C-suite leaders.
History of using a variety of project and program management applications, ability to quicky learn and leverage new applications.
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams such as Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Finance, Product, Operations and Support.
Ability to quickly understand technical aspects of product/service, both from a functionality perspective but also from an operations/set up perspective and be able to articulate it to a less technical audience.
Preferred
PMI PMP or higher certification preferred
Telecommunications experience
Experience leading multiple complex projects simultaneously
Compensation
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
Location Based Pay Ranges
$103,711 - $138,281 in these states: AL AR AZ FL GA IA ID IN KS KY LA ME MO MS MT ND NE NM OH OK PA SC SD TN UT VT WI WV WY
$108,896 - $145,195 in these states: CO HI MI MN NC NH NV OR RI
$114,082 - $152,109 in these states: AK CA CT DC DE IL MA MD NJ NY TX VA WA
