Position Summary

We are seeking a Manager, Global Benefits and Payroll with broad knowledge of benefit strategies and payroll compliance. This role will manage our Global Payroll Administrator and will be the lead developing benefits plans with our brokers and advisors and handling all administration and compliance needs. Current scope is our legal entities in US, UK and Hong Kong and Singapore. Critical to the success of this role is promoting a positive employee experience from onboarding through the full employee life cycle. The Manager, Global Benefits and Payroll will encourage positive employee relations while ensuring compliance with all related processes, policies and laws.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate payroll.

• Works collaboratively with Finance to ensure compliance to audit / process controls.

• Oversees and administers employee health and wellness plans, including retirement, savings and deferred compensation plans.

• Advises and informs employees of changes and developments related to benefits including eligibility, coverage, and provisions.

• Manages ADP enrollment platform and related feeds to ensure accurate and timely delivery of employer contributions and employee payroll deductions to carriers, plan administrators, or other appropriate service providers.

• Completes records, reporting, and other documentation required by federal, state, and provider rules, regulations, and policies. Audits all benefit invoices for changes.

• Identifies and recommends carriers and plans based on quotes, available benefits, and prior experience.

• Monitors administrators’ and insurance carriers’ reports to ensure the organization’s compliance with plan requirements.

• Ensures the organization’s and plans’ compliance with the applicable provisions of COBRA, HIPAA, and ERISA

• Maintains knowledge of economic conditions, labor market, and other factors related to ensuring the organization provides competitive and reasonable benefits and compensation scales and structures.

• Maintains knowledge of trends, developments, and best practices in benefit administration.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Advanced experience with payroll and benefit administration in ADP Workforce Now.

• Ability to handle sensitive situations and personal data with a care and understanding. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Analytical skills including auditing data. Must be self driven, with excellent time to meet deadlines.

• Thorough knowledge of COBRA, HIPAA, and ERISA requirements.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, strong preference for experience with SmartSheets

Education and Work Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related required.

• Ten years of related experience, with at least 5 managing benefit programs with simliar scope in the US, with at least 1 year managing benefits in another country. Strong preference for Singapore or UK experience.

Physical and Mental Demands

• Ability to travel up to 20% of time, may also include overnight and international travel • Work normal business hours and extended hours when necessary • Remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting, for prolonged periods • Regular use of office equipment such as a computer/laptop and monitor computer screens • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other computer components
