Your Opportunity

In this role, you will perform a variety ofanalysisandimplementationactivities that helpdevelopEIS’s products.  You will work closely with otherdevelopersand gain valuable exposure tocutting-edgeprogrammingtools, UI technologiesand operating environments. In this role, you will research, analyze, design, develop and sustain a large-scaleinformation retrieval system running on AWS platform and building,testing,and deploying Java-based microservicesandJavScriptbased UI apps.

What You'll Do

• Provideinputon system architecture, design, implementation, testing,and delivery of Javaand JavaScript microservicesto support full-text finder system components andinterfaces.

• Work directly with product management and your team while analyzing and decomposing complex software requirements into simple user storiesand tasksfor planning and execution.

• Leverage and contributeto buildingan application usingstate of the arthomegrown CI/CD pipeline in AWS using CloudFormation templates and AWS referencearchitecture.

• Demonstrate ownership of developed components from development through production.

About You

• Basic knowledge of Software Design, Algorithms, Programming, and Data Structures.

• Goodexperiencewith OOA/OOD and OO programming using core Java.

• Someexperience in large systems software design and development with hands-on experience in RESTful Web Services, XML/JSON, HTTP, SSL.

• Some experience withUIdevelopment (NodeJS,NextJS, Typescript, Javascript). 

• Candidate must be able to work well in a team environment and be a strong self-starter.

• Working toward or having aBachelor'sdegree in CS
