Field Service Technician

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Field Service Technician to join our team. This role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing conveyor systems primarily for high-profile clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional service. Flexibility for travel is required to support various client sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair conveyor systems and related equipment at client locations.

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues with conveyor systems to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their specific needs and deliver effective solutions.

  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on conveyor systems to ensure reliability and efficiency.

  • Maintain detailed records of service activities, including issues encountered, solutions provided, parts used, and time spent.

  • Provide training and support to clients on the operation and maintenance of conveyor systems.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to continually enhance your technical skills and service capabilities.

  • Be available for travel to client sites as required, including potential overnight stays.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with conveyor systems or similar industrial equipment.

  • Strong understanding of conveyor system components, operation, and troubleshooting techniques.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and effectively under pressure.

  • Exceptional customer service skills with a professional and courteous demeanor.

  • Willingness to travel to various client locations, including overnight stays as necessary.

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

  • Relevant certifications or training related to conveyor systems or industrial maintenance are a plus.
