Job Title: Quality Control Inspector

Job Description

As a Quality Control Inspector, you will ensure that all inspection activities are conducted efficiently and in compliance with approved company manuals, procedures, and policies to maintain adherence to FAA regulations. This supervisory role reports to the Chief Inspector and involves assisting in policy revisions, ensuring the accuracy of maintenance work and documentation, supervising training of maintenance personnel, and liaising with external entities. You will work primarily on heavy checks for ERJ 135/145 aircraft and occasionally on our new E170 charter aircraft within our largest hangar.

Hard Skills

  • A&P certification

  • Experience with wide body or commercial aircraft

  • 2 years of aircraft maintenance experience

  • Aircraft inspection

Soft Skills

  • Supervisory skills

  • Ability to train personnel

  • Strong documentation and compliance orientation

  • Effective communication and liaison abilities

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Work Environment

Work mostly takes place inside the hangar, with occasional outdoor tasks. The position requires flexibility with shifts, including potential extended hours. Normal shifts are from Wednesday to Saturday or Sunday to Wednesday, with current extended working days to manage workload. Pay ranges from $33 to $37.77 per hour.
