Position Summary Details:

We are seeking a Plumbing and General Maintenance Technician with strong customer service skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in responding promptly to maintenance requests, particularly in plumbing and general building maintenance. Responsibilities include repairing piping leaks, maintaining water fountains, servicing bathroom and locker room equipment, and performing light electrical and mechanical tasks. The role also involves roof leak identification and repairs, door and roll-up door troubleshooting, basic pest control, and more. Professionalism, a courteous demeanor, and a strong commitment to customer service are essential. The technician must report safety hazards and significant maintenance issues to the Supervisor, as well as monitor and report supply inventory. Flexibility and a willingness to tackle all assigned tasks are required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and reactive maintenance, particularly in plumbing, but also including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, conveyor, and other equipment, systems or structures.

• Conduct repairs and maintenance across all facility equipment and structures.

• Respond quickly to maintenance requests, including emergencies such as spills.

• Assist in emergency situations as needed.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Must meet all requirements for working in specific ATS environments (if applicable), including providing a ten-year work history if available.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience in plumbing and general maintenance.

• Customer service experience.
