What you'll do. * Assist with the collaboration with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for patients across different settings. * Help to focus on prevention, diagnosis, treatment planning, patient education, and collaboration with the healthcare team while emphasizing overall patient well-being. * Support team by providing, monitoring, and evaluating a wide range of occupational health services. * Support team by providing health expertise to functional groups (HR, Legal, Procurement), H&S, Emergency Response, and Leadership as required. * Assist with developing a health promotion strategy and initiatives in support of; the public health agenda, specific occupational health risks, and disease prevalence. * Administratively formulate, review, and update Health Center procedures and policies * Conducts Industrial Hygiene exposure monitoring (noise, benzene) as directed by an Industrial Hygienist. Who you are. * Available to begin work on January 6, 2025 * Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship for this role will not be provided. * As this position requires the operation of a motor vehicle, a valid US Driver's License is required. * Previous experience is considered an asset. * Strong attitude for carrying out all work in a safe, cautious manner while following safe work practices. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. Education * Must be enrolled in a Health and Safety Undergraduate Program at an accredited post-secondary institution at the time of intended work term and returning to full-time studies after the work term OR registered in an accredited post-secondary co-op or internship program for the duration of the work term. * Candidates currently enrolled in either a master's or Ph.D. program at an accredited post-secondary institution may also be considered. * New graduates are not eligible for student opportunities.
