Range Kleen Order Tech in Lima, Ohio
BASIC PURPOSE
The primary purpose of this role at Range Kleen is to ensure that orders are processed by following both the How-To instructions and meeting specific customers' compliance expectations. Order Techs will process the orders within a given goal time, which includes wrapping and loading pallets. This position reports directly to the Shipping Manager.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Key Metrics:
- Process Customer Purchase orders on the Pick Module, off the floor, and in UPS and Fed Ex by using computer pick programs and RF handheld scanner
- Build secure pallets to ensure they arrive to the customer's location, safe and intact.
- Operate a pallet jack and pallet wrapper.
- Operate a forklift; load outbound freight using forklift (experience not necessary, will train if interested)
- Assist in unloading containers.
- Complete annual physical inventory
- Work in Production -- carding, boxing, loading product on the line, and loading pallets.
- Training new associates
Key Metrics: 100% OTIF (On Time & In Full) on all order shipments while avoiding fines from customer and/or logistics.
Education, Experience, Traits and Skills
Minimum Education Requirement: High School Diploma or GED (General Education Diploma). Must be computer literate, proficient in Mathematics, and able to read, speak and write in the English language fluently.
An Order Tech must be able to conduct the functions of the position safely and effectively. Physical tasks include but are not limited to climbing up and down ladders/stairs without problems with height. Must be able to lift or carry up to 50 lbs., must be able to push/pull pallet jack with pallet up to 600 lbs., stand/walk on concrete continuously, and bend at the waist greater than thirty-five-degree angle frequently, and be able to reach over shoulder level to grasp up to 10 lbs.
