Superior Forge & Steel Corporation is currently hiring an *Electrician *for our operation.  The Electrician is a member of our Maintenance Department responsible for providing electrical and electronic maintenance support for plant facilities and

equipment.  

Shift: - 2nd or 3rd COMPETITIVE  wages: $26.50 - &34.50/hr (based on experience), Benefit/Insurance package:

·       8 paid holidays

·       401K

·       PTO and Paid Relief Days

·       $1,000 SIGN ON BONUS

·       This position is eligible for production and other incentives

Responsibilities:

·       Installing and maintaining AC and DC industrial electrical equipment and control systems

·       Installing and maintaining facility electrical, lighting, and power distribution

·       Reading/interpreting blueprints, drawings and sketches,

·       Mentoring less experienced/knowledgeable co-workers

·       Following company guidelines and directives

·       Performing various assigned department duties

Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions:

·       Exposed to seasonal temperature changes

·       Manufacturing environment with heat, noise, dust, and vibration

·       This position has consistent daily physical demands

Qualifications:

·       High School Diploma or GED required

·       Technical degree or electrical apprenticeship is a plus

·       Basic math skills required

·       Attention to detail

·       Problem solving and troubleshooting skills

·       Must be able to work any shift

·       No prior plant experience required - Company paid apprenticeship program available

Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screen
