Description: Lochhaven Assisted Living is a premier senior living community nestled in a serene environment, dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our residents. The facility is a not-for-profit entity that is part of the Lima Convalescent Home Foundation. We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team and contribute to our mission of enhancing the well-being of our residents.
Position Requirements:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with their individual care plans and medical needs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor residents' health status and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical personnel
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain accurate medical records
- Educate residents and their families about health conditions, treatments, and preventive measures
- Foster a compassionate and supportive environment for residents and their families.
- Valid LPN license in Ohio
- Knowledge of geriatric nursing practices and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
- CPR certification (preferred)
