Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking Multi-Craft Maintenance Technicians for 2nd Shift or Night Shift who will report to the Maintenance Supervisor and work under the guidance of the Group Leader. This role involves mentoring lower level Electrical Technicians and providing training on areas they are not yet proficient in. The successful candidate will provide instructions on necessary repairs or installations and perform duties with minimal supervision. Responsibilities include mechanical troubleshooting on gears, bearings, sprockets, and electrical troubleshooting up to 480V 3phase, including motors, motor relays, starters, and sensors on robots or PLCs. Technicians will also trace down prints and collaborate with lower level technicians to repair facility-wide issues. The role entails 80% of time spent on reactionary or preventative maintenance and 20% on integration of equipment, working closely with Control Engineers.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in LIGONIER, Indiana.

Work Environment

The facility, which processes ovens for tempering and forming glass windshields, can reach temperatures up to 110 degrees but maintains high cleanliness standards with minimal dirt.
