What you’ll do :
Senior Youth Care Workers provide safety and around-the-clock supervision of at-risk youth. In this role, you will provide for the physical, personal and health needs of each youth through individual counseling and behavioral/social/physical and educational skill development. Senior Youth Care Workers provide an atmosphere that is supportive of the needs of the youth; monitor and document youth behaviors and activities; and participate and assist with educational, social, athletic and recreational activities. Senior Youth Care Workers work in collaboration with other professional staff to establish and/or meet the goals of each youth’s treatment plan. You will be looked at as a leader within the cottage for the kids and from the other Youth Care Workers. This position reports to the Unit Managers or designee.
Minimum requirements:
·High school Diploma required. Associates degree or Bachelors degree in related field preferred.
·Preferred 1-year professional experience in a children's residential facility.
·Preferred prior supervisory experience.
·Be at least 21 years of age.

· Have a desire to work with youth.
· Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.
· Weekends required.
