Job Title: Electronic Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Electronic Assembler to join our team. This role involves assembling computer hardware components according to detailed instructions and procedures. The position offers $18 per hour and operates on the 1st shift from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm, with a requirement for occasional Saturday overtime on the last Saturday of each month.

Duties and Responsibilities: - Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures. - Complete tasks as described by production schedules. - Ensure all components are picked according to the order. - Work and communicate in a professional manner. - Achieve departmental work goals. - Maintain a clean and organized work area. - Communicate suggestions and feedback. - Conduct basic math calculations. - Record any non-conformances. - Perform visual quality inspections. - Load and unload materials onto or from a cart. - Perform other duties as assigned.

Day-to-day Responsibilities: - Open the electronic order tracking system. - Select the most urgent build and mark it as an open task. - Grab the corresponding parts cart with all necessary materials. - Verify that all correct parts and quantities are on the cart. - Print off labels for the computer build. - Follow step-by-step instructions on the computer screen to assemble the computer or server. - Use a torque screwdriver to assemble the computer. - Place completed parts back on the cart for wiring by another employee.

This is a fully on-site position in LIBERTYVILLE, Illinois.

Work Environment

The company builds various types of computers and servers in a temperature-controlled, organized, and clean facility. The culture is inclusive, allowing employees to wear casual attire and use headphones during their shifts. The facility includes a large cafeteria with free healthy snacks and drinks, a Foosball table, other break-time activities, and a large TV. Each assembler has their own workstation with a high-top table, a swivel chair, a large vertical monitor for viewing orders and emails, and a parts cart for their build.
