CNC machinist

Our client is seeking a day shift only CNC machinist who enjoys custom job machining and working in an R&D Lab Environment to work with engineers on new product development and prototyping.

The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years’ experience with conversational programming, CAD/CAM with a software such as Solidworks to modify jobs, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with peers and management.

$27-$32/HR + OT

Skills Requires/Desired:

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

• Experience with deburring and grinding

• Conversational programming desired

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work effectively with others and independently.

• Observe machines on trial runs or conduct simulations to ensure that programs and machinery will function properly and produce items that meet specifications.

• Modify existing programs to enhance efficiency.

• Make management aware of any conditions that may affect the efficiency, quality or completion of jobs, and assist in activities within the machine shop.

Requirements:

• U.S. Citizenship is required due to the nature of their business relationships.

• Understanding of GD&T

• AS Degree highly desired or 5 years+ experience
