Seeking an experienced accounting leader who will be responsible for teams managing the North America (NAM) general ledger, global close and consolidation, managerial reporting, and related SOX compliance in accordance with U.S. GAAP policies and procedures. This role oversees the accurate compilation, analysis, and reporting of accounting data; designs and leads the implementation of operational procedures and processes that meet audit standards and improve efficiency; and supports objectives of senior management. The Sr. Manager actively participates in annual audits and special projects and works with external consultants and/or auditors to provide required information and ensure proper recordkeeping for historical purposes. Success includes selection, oversight, development, and evaluation of personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the team.Job Duties & Responsibilities: Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including general ledger, and financial consolidation and reporting. Provide detailed work assignments and project guidance to team members as needed. Timely completion of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles, including coordination of the global period-close calendar. Keep up-to-date on current developments and concepts related to areas of responsibility. Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and controls to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements. Lead the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Manage the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors. Support the preparation of SEC Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, earning releases, proxy statements, and other reports as needed. Provide analysis of accounts and records to senior management. Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of global accounting processes. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis using Oracle ERP and EPM tools. Mentor and develop accounting staff, fostering a culture of growth, innovation, and transformation. Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives and initiatives. Required Skills & Experience: Bachelor's or higher degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA designation or equivalent professional certification with a deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and SOX compliance. 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles in public companies or high-growth organizations with at least 5 years in a managerial role. Proven ability to develop and implement innovative accounting solutions. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools. Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams. Experience in managing and optimizing financial systems and processes. Ability to adapt to new technologies and drive digital transformation initiatives. Demonstrated expertise in handling multiple obligations and prioritizing ad hoc requests with daily responsibilities. Strong ethical standards and high level of integrity. Preferred Skills & Experience: Experience with financial ERP and consolidation systems, specifically Oracle EBS and EPM Cloud.
