Job Title: CNC Mill Machinist

Job Description

The CNC Mill Machinist is responsible for following prescribed standards of CNC operations, set-ups, prototype, and established processes.

Responsibilities

  • Set-up equipment to run production and/or prototype parts according to blueprints.

  • Develop new work instructions for prototype parts.

  • Troubleshoot processes, programs, equipment, and tooling.

  • Perform shop floor programming and editing of CNC programs to maintain product quality.

  • Conduct tool changes, run products, and make tool offsets.

Essential Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Minimum of 2-5+ years in CNC Mill set-up and machining.

  • Knowledge and skills to perform set-ups on proven and prototype parts.

  • Experience with various machine tool controls (G-M Codes & Mazatrol a plus).

  • Knowledge of blueprint reading and a working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.

  • Knowledge of mathematical formulas needed to calculate product dimensioning.

  • Proficiency with quality assurance, CNC, blueprints, mill, quality control, machining, and calipers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with Haas equipment.

  • Ability to troubleshoot machining processes.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00
