Summary
Wayfinder Financial Advisors is an independent financial services practice of Thrivent Financial. We take a broad-based approach to helping our clients achieve multiple financial goals. We help our clients analyze their current situation, develop in-depth financial programs, and help them implement an integrated financial strategy.
Position summary:
This position supports the daily operations of the practice, including, but not limited to: answering the phones, meeting/greeting members, handling/distributing postal mail and email, ordering supplies, utilizing Thrivent Financial computer systems and programs, and other administrative tasks as assigned. This position is responsible for maintaining effective communication between practice and our clients, coordinating client appointments on calendar, and assisting in completing any follow-up service work. This role is critical to our client experience and requires a friendly, upbeat demeanor.
This position is full time in office. Compensation is between $23-26/hr dependent upon experience. Benefits include PTO and a health care stipend.
Growth track to get South Carolina Life and Health Insurance licensed.
Job Description
Position Roles/Responsibilities/Accountabilities
Administrative
Handles incoming telephone calls and responds to requests for information
Drives activity in the practice by scheduling (service model) client meetings
Monitor procedures, policies, or standards in client service model process
Responsible for keeping weekly appointment calendar full
Update the contact management system with client contact and preference information
Performs routine administrative duties such as maintaining office supplies
Prepares or assists in the preparation of routine correspondence to clients
Assist Advisors in the preparation and follow up for the client/member meetings by pulling client files, placing reminder calls, and performing other manual tasks that do not require licensing access
Provides administrative support on tasks that do not require any type of licensing or registration
Create and promote additional opportunities for the practice to meet with new customer/members
Completes other miscellaneous tasks as assigned
Position Qualifications
Previous administrative/secretarial experience desired
Strong technical computer aptitude and knowledge of business tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or ability to learn
Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain a high quality of work while experiencing frequent interruptions
Ability to maintain integrity of sensitive/confidential information
Basic understanding of Wayfinder Financial Advisors and the products and services of Thrivent Financial

As part of Wayfinders Financial Advisors recruiting/hiring/contracting process, a verification of a candidate's background will be made to complete the hiring/contracting process. In addition, fingerprints will be taken for submission to the Federal Bureau of Investigation for review against nationwide fingerprint records.
