MAG T-45 Depot Logistics Specialist in Lexington Park, Maryland

Position Summary

MAG is seeking a Logistics Specialist to support a DoD customer. The Logistics Specialist will be responsible for assisting in the moving of aircraft and parts between the training squadron and the maintenance depot. The logistics Specialist willprovide assistance in direct support of contractual requirements.

This role is a hybrid schedule - defined as in office 2/3 days a week .

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Support the Program Officelogisticsorganization in the gathering and correlation of information for the preparation and development of presentations to support team meetings, management reviews,logisticsteam reviews,auditsand other requests for presentation/briefing information.

  • Provide support in the analysis of the primary individual system/ Logistics Requirements Funding Summary (LRFS) components as well as the respective IPT-related LRFSs (end item/system) in support of production, engineering change orders, and budgetary adjustments.

  • Provide technical support and analysis for the weapon systems' In-service Program Related Logistics (PRL) support requirements; budgeting for PRL requirements, participation in the Baseline Assessment Model (BAM) process for spares determination and other program relatedlogisticssupport requirements.

  • Provide support on the development of comprehensive Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSPs) for weapon systems, training equipment,subsystemsor support systems.Assistwith updates to milestone charts to reflect delivery schedule changes or slippage and changes in the maintenance concept precipitated by modifications.

Minimum Requirements

Knowledge and Skills

The required skills and knowledge include:

  • A working knowledge of Deckplate, Production Status Reporting (PSR), Joint Deficiency Reporting System (JDRS), and Common Spend Plan Tool (CSPT) system.

  • Experience with sustainment plans and life cyclelogisticsmanagement.

  • Assist with Government GFP lead with responding to data calls and tracking GFP.

  • Excels at Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Good communicationskills

The minimum years of related experiencerequired:

  • Three (3) years of specific experience inlogisticsplanning.

Education

The minimum level of educationrequiredis:

  • BS or BA degree from an accredited institution.

  • High school diploma or GED and eleven (11) years of acquisition or operationallogisticsmanagement experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.

Desired Requirements

The desired skills, knowledge, and education include:

  • Six (6) years of experience in logistics support or maintenance

Other Requirements:

  • Candidate must be a US citizen.

  • Candidate must be able to obtain andmaintaina security clearance.
