We seek a Talent Experience Specialist to assist in advancing human resources strategic initiatives intended to enhance the talent experience at the Lab. Reporting to the DEI talent management program manager, this position will influence change and culture through problem solving, data collection/analysis, communication, and change management strategies. This position involves a high level of relationship building and networking representing the department and Lab, both internally and externally. This is new and exciting opportunity for someone seeking to leverage their creativity to help position MIT LL as a national DEI leader and an employer of choice.

Duties/Responsibilities:
DEI Training and Consultation
Lead the development and implementation of Lab-wide talent management, leadership development, and/or diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
Lead the facilitation of professional seminars and talks at national and regional recruiting events
Lead sessions for prospective talent at national and regional recruiting events
Identify opportunities to promote MIT LL at national/local events
Company Culture and Brand Ambassador
Develop strategies to maximize prospect generation at local, regional and national diversity conferences and events
Lead initiatives that position the Lab as a recognized diverse employer of choice
Assist in online reputation management efforts (e.g. Glassdoor, Indeed, social media)
Development and facilitation of training sessions (e.g. talent steward kick-off meetings)
Diverse Talent Community Engagement
Management of diverse talent communities via Yello (CRM)
In partnership with talent acquisition and HR communications, responsible for establishing a recruitment marketing campaign strategy
Refer competitive diverse prospects to open vacancies and encourage talent acquisition specialists and managers to conduct informational interviews
Awards and Recognitions Strategy
Develop strategies that help promote our people and their impact
Identify and register for rewards and recognition programs that advance our culture and opportunities
Collaborate with internal teams to gather success stories, achievements, and contributions of our people
Create compelling content that effectively highlights our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
Maintain awards calendar with deadlines for timely preparation and submission
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, communications, or similar field
Minimum 5 years of HR, DEI and/or talent management experience
Previous experience managing vendor relations and supporting regional/national diversity events
Strong track record and passion for promoting inclusive practices focused on improving the employee experience
Experience with state and federal employment and HR laws
Perceptive ability to navigate through multiple and sometimes ambiguous priorities
Strong relationship builder with the ability to establish trust and maintain professional relationships at all levels of the Lab
Prior experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and/or CRM (preferred)
Out of state travel will be required for this role.
