Job Title: Technician
Job Description
As a Technician, you will troubleshoot and solve HVAC rooftop units, make up air, boiler, chiller, and control system problems. You will also play a critical role in providing technical support to other Service Technicians and ensuring customer satisfaction. This position requires dependability and the ability to work in emergency situations when needed.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and solve HVAC rooftop units, make up air, boiler, chiller, and control system problems. Knowledge of VRF systems is a plus.
Follow up with customers for quality assurance purposes and ensure customers are 100% satisfied.
Act as the technical support for other Service Technicians, answering most technical questions and helping with various issues.
Attend job site and office meetings related to assigned projects and be well-prepared to handle any issues that may arise.
Be dependable and able to work in emergency situations when called upon.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
10-12 years of commercial experience in plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration.
Stable work history.
HVAC and brazing license.
EPA or Universal License.
Type 2 or Universal Refrigerant License.
Ability to read blueprints.
Strong HVAC Technician experience.
Relevant certifications and licenses.
A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Ability to manage, lead, motivate, and discipline.
Excellent organizational skills.
High School or GED Equivalent.
Exceptional communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
KY Journeymen license is a plus.
Air Conditioning and equipment licensing is a plus.
Working knowledge of all hand and power tools.
Ability to use all specialty tools including Recovery Machine, Multi Meter, Combustion Analysis.
Ability to install equipment.
Very strong technical knowledge
Ability to work within precise limits or standards of accuracy and productivity.
Eyesight correctable to 20/50.
Able to work long hours on feet.
Able to lift and climb ladders and scaffolds.
Able to perform shift work.
Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 60 lbs.
Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Must not be afraid of heights.
Must provide their own basic hand tools.
Ability to relocate to Louisville, KY before starting work (Required).

Work Environment
This role requires working long hours on your feet and the ability to lift and climb ladders and scaffolds. You must be able to perform shift work and lift objects weighing up to 60 lbs. The work environment includes outdoor work in various weather conditions, and you must not be afraid of heights. A valid driver's license is required, and you must provide your own basic hand tools.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lexington, Kentucky.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00
