Job Title: Quality Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Quality Supervisor with a strong understanding of various measurement tools and equipment to ensure quality assurance and supervision in a machine shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage quality assurance processes.

• Utilize digital and analog micrometers for precise measurements.

• Operate dial and digital calipers for accurate readings.

• Use height gauges and Tesa height electronic gauges.

• Employ digital bore gauges and internal groove gauges.

• Measure with depth micrometers and optical comparators.

• Perform hardness testing using Rockwell hardness testers.

• Employ dial indicators, thread gauges, and thread micrometers for detailed inspections.

• Use profilometers and spring testers for specific measurements.

• Operate a Duro meter for material hardness testing.

• Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) is a plus.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in using digital and analog micrometers.

• Skilled in using dial and digital calipers.

• Experience with height gauges and electronic Tesa height gauges.

• Ability to use digital bore gauges and internal groove gauges.

• Proficiency with depth micrometers and optical comparators.

• Experience with Rockwell hardness testers.

• Skilled in using dial indicators, thread gauges, and thread micrometers.

• Proficiency with profilometers and spring testers.

• Experience with Duro meters.

• Knowledge of CMM programming and operation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in supervision and quality assurance.

• Inspection and auditing skills.

This is a Contract position based out of Lexington, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00
