Hours and days of week subject to change based on the needs and growth of the department. May require call center duties which could expand to later hours and may require occasional holiday and weekend rotation based on growth of department. Shifts assigned based on scheduling needs not to exceed 40 hours/week. Number of hours scheduled per week may vary.Job SummaryThis position will provide a variety of specialty pharmacy services including obtaining prior authorizations, enrolling patients’ in financial support programs, mail order tracking and drug inventory management, and coordinating first time dispenses and refills for specialty medications prescribed within UK HealthCare. You will work closely with nurses, physicians, and UK Specialty Pharmacy staff to improve access to medications for a variety of sub specialty disease states.Skills / Knowledge / AbilitiesThis position requires dependability, excellent customer service and the ability to prioritize. The successful candidate must be reliable and demonstrate excellent attention to detail. Must be self-motivated and be able to stay on task. Must be reliable and punctual.
