The University of Kentucky Fetal Sonographer in Lexington, Kentucky
The University of Kentucky seeks a Fetal Sonographer in Lexington, Kentucky. Fetal sonographer will perform high-level cardiac ultrasound exams on the preterm fetus to evaluate for congenital heart anomalies. Additionally, this role will perform pediatric cardiac ultrasound on children from birth to adulthood with varying degrees of congenital heart disease and surgical palliation. This position requires an Associate’s degree in sonography, related field or foreign equivalent; 3 years of experience performing fetal echocardiograms and must be a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) at time of hire, and Fetal Echocardiograph Certification (FE) within 18 months of hire. The position requires participation in call rotations and some travel. Any candidate offered a position may be required to pass pre-employment screenings as mandated by University of Kentucky Human Resources.
