Job Title: Embedded Systems EngineerJob Description

As a System Engineer on our Embedded Systems Hardware Team, you will employ the skillset of an ASIC Engineer to specify, develop, design, verify, and document ASIC and FPGA projects. Your assignments will encompass the analysis of all aspects from high-level design to synthesis, place and route, timing, power utilization, and low-level firmware function.

Responsibilities

• Analyze all aspects from high-level design to synthesis, place and route, timing, power utilization, and low-level firmware function.

• Specify, develop, design, verify, and document ASIC and FPGA projects.

• Integrate embedded systems and ensure seamless operation.

• Develop and maintain Python and C code for embedded systems.

• Collaborate with a small embedded team both in the US and abroad.

• Participate in new product initiatives and research and development (R&D) projects.

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of design experience.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.

• Experience in embedded systems integration projects.

• Proficiency in Python and C development.

• Experience with FPGA and ASIC chip design.

• Familiarity with Linux operating systems.

Work Environment

Large technology organization that is consistently evolving. The team works on both legacy projects and new product initiatives, as well as research and development. The embedded team is small, with approximately 18 members, half located in the US and the other half abroad. The work environment is hybrid with unlimited paid time off and relocation assistance offered.
