Reporting to the Department Administrator, this leader will also work closely with many others in the Department of Pediatrics, including the Department Chair, Department faculty and staff, the Division Chiefs, Ambulatory Leadership, and Kentucky Children’s Hospital Leadership to develop, implement, and support department initiatives and activities.The successful candidate will have a strong healthcare leadership that includes analysis, planning, and implementation of new initiatives, financial analysis capabilities, excellent communication and presentation skills, and a passion for supporting our children and their families.Skills / Knowledge / AbilitiesLeadership, Communication, Teamwork, Microsoft OfficeDoes this position have supervisory responsibilities? YesPreferred Education/ExperienceBachelors degree (or higher) and at least 8 years of healthcare experience strongly desired. Masters degree including MPH, MSN, MBA, MHA, or MPA preferred.
