Description

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Lexington, Kentucky. In this role, you will be primarily working within the healthcare industry. The position requires an individual who can handle a fast-paced environment and has the ability to pivot quickly. This role will be based in a quiet open office, operating from Monday to Friday, 8:30-5. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process purchase orders in Great Plains and upload them into Concur

• Efficiently handle check runs and invoice processing

• Maintain and reconcile account records in a timely manner

• Use Microsoft Excel at an intermediate level for various tasks

• Perform data entry duties as required

• Code invoices as per the established protocols

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions as needed.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, with a focus on identifying and resolving discrepancies in financial data.

• Expertise in managing Accounts Payable (AP), including invoice management, payment processing, and vendor communication.

• Experience in performing Check Runs, ensuring accurate and timely payments.

• Familiarity with Coding Invoices, including categorizing expenses correctly and efficiently.

• Strong Data Entry skills, with a focus on accuracy and speed.

• Proven experience in Invoice Processing, including verifying details, resolving discrepancies, and updating records.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial data management, including creating spreadsheets, using formulas, and generating reports.

• Knowledge of Great Plains for accounting tasks, including invoicing, bill payment, and financial report generation.
