Description The Data Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting the Strategy & Analytics department by extracting, transforming, and analyzing data to drive informed decision-making. This position will focus on leveraging SQL to construct complex data models, join multiple tables, and create custom tables to support business requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data warehousing principles and a proven ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

Data Extraction and Modeling:

Extract, aggregate, and organize data from SQL databases to support revenue cycle analysis.

Construct complex data models from multiple tables to create a unified data repository.

Develop custom tables to address specific business requirements.

SQL Proficiency:

Write advanced SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions from scratch.

Join multiple tables to create comprehensive datasets.

Optimize SQL code for performance and efficiency.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

Develop ad-hoc queries and procedures to address business questions.

Create insightful reports and dashboards using Power BI and Excel.

Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.

Business Intelligence:

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.

Develop predictive models to forecast future trends.

Provide data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making.

Data Governance:

Ensure data quality and integrity through data cleansing and validation processes.

Contribute to data governance initiatives to maintain data consistency across the organization.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.

3-5 years of experience in a data analyst or business intelligence role.

Strong proficiency in SQL, including the ability to write complex queries and perform data manipulation.

Experience with data warehousing and data modeling concepts.

Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI an Requirements Microsoft SQL, SSIS, SSRS, T-SQL - Transact-SQL Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
