Banking Ops Manager
The Banking Operations Manager job manages the administrative and transactional processes that facilitate the delivery of consumer and commercial banking services. This job supervises para-professional employees and ensures compliance with all relevant accounting and control standards within banking operations. This job also sets day-to-day operational objectives for the team and ensures policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Ensures a high delivery of service standards by automating, centralizing and streamlining processes and procedures within the consumer and commercial banking operations.
Oversees management of referral calls and follow-up by team members with prospective clients.
Partners with wealth management advisors and loan officers to streamline process of managing multi-channel inbound and outbound leads.
Supervises verification process for the accuracy of payments and online entries for banking operations.
Provides guidance on reconciling non-routine customer, branch operations or bank inquiries.
Ensures compliance with corporate, regulatory and control procedures by implementing and monitoring operational processes.
Manages performance of banking operations team through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of exceptional services and engagement, motivation and development of team.
Educational Requirements
- No Advanced Degree Required Preferred
Work Experience
- 3+ Years of related experience required; 5+ Years of related experience preferred

Experience leading a team as a supervisor.

This position is Hybrid. Hybrid work requires working in the office four days per week with one flexible day to work remotely.
