Title: Electrical Technician B Position Objective: Work in a safe and efficient manner so as to be a productive, while maintaining high quality of work. Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent. Previous Electrical Experience. Troubleshoot problems in simple electrical circuits. Must pass an electrical test. Must have a good attitude and is self-motivated. Must be able to follow directions. Must be able to work from elevated heights over 8 feet. Job Responsibilities: Safety - complies with all written and verbal safety rules of the plant and department including the use of personal protective equipment. Must be able to wire a 3-phase motor and transformers single phase and 3. Must be able to follow directions. Available for overtime. Perform all assigned job duties. Troubleshoot problems in simple electrical circuits. Assist other technicians. Other duties as assigned by Area Supervisor or Forman. Must be able to understand how prox switches work and how to wire them in a circuit. Must understand temperature controllers and how to program them and how to wire them in and trouble shoot them. Must be able to wire a DC drive and a DC motor.
