MONTANA FIBERGLASS Fiberglass Laminator in LEWISTOWN, Montana
Full time position
HOURS:40 hour work week, some overtime available. Monday-Thurs 7AM-5:30PM. Some Fridays. No weekends.
WAGE: $33,467 per year with sick leave, SIMPLE IRA and vacation.
Montana Fiberglass is growing and we are looking to train motivated individuals to join our fiberglass production team. Seeking positive, energetic individuals with initiative to help cultivate a trade that utilizes one of the most widely used materials in the country. DUTIES:
Work involves applying resin and fiberglass layers over molds, releasing air bubbles with hands/rollers/squeegees and spraying chopped fiberglass, resins and catalysts onto prepared molds using pneumatic spray guns with chopper attachments, as well as separating products from molds, and finish work, to build water storage tanks.
-Other tasks include cleaning and maintaining work area and equipment.
-Must be able to be on feet throughout work shift.-Select precut fiberglass mats, cloth, and wood.
-Bracing materials as required by projects being assembled.
-Pat or press layers of saturated mat or cloth into place on molds, using brushes or hands, and smooth out wrinkles and air bubbles with hands or squeegees.
-Mix catalysts into resins, and saturate cloth and mats with mixtures, using brushes/rollers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
No experience, education or training requirement.On-the-job training will be provided.
