Are you passionate about making a difference in the field of mental health? St. Mary's Regional Medical Center is seeking a dedicated PMHNP to join our Behavioral Health care team. This exciting opportunity involves providing compassionate psychiatric services to our inpatient population, with primary responsibilities below.

Responsibilities:

• PMHNP for inpatient Psychiatry coverage, including:

• Daily direct patient care on Adult Inpatient unit

• Coverage of other services when census is low

• Weekend rounding 1 in 7 weekends

• Taking first call 1 in 8 nights/weekends

• Potential for support of PHP/IOP as those services grow

Requirements:

• Graduation from a state-certified advanced practice program specializing in psychiatry/mental health.

• PMHNP certification.

• Unrestricted license to practice as a PMHNP in Maine.

• Unrestricted DEA registration.

• State-issued Controlled Substance Registration (CSR).

• Registration with the state Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP).

• No suspension/exclusion/debarment from participation in federal health care programs (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid, SCHIP).

• Preferred: 2 years of direct patient care experience in psychiatric disorders.
