Title: Development Operations Coordinator, 32 Hours Lewiston Maine
What You’ll Do:
Responsible for recording and maintaining the integrity of gift and constituent information in the department’s Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge/NXT database.
Will develop processes to regularly identify potential major gift prospects by analyzing donor trends and past giving patterns
Leverage gift history and constituent data to assess the capacity and propensity of individuals to support Andwell Health Partners.
Will help prioritize prospects for engagement and support donor stewardship activities. The Development Operations Coordinator will also assist with the department’s work flow and event coordination to meet the departmental goals.
Must enjoy working with people and be customer service focus with donors, vendors, volunteers, and staff
Excellent communication skills both oral and written
Knowledge of general accounting principles
Knowledge and interest in development and philanthropy
Experience in running reports, interpreting audience analytics, data entry, and some project management
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Comfort moving between different departments and diverse groups of people
Propensity for innovation and the pursuit of improvement
Display creativity and initiative; respond quickly to last-minute needs and changing priorities
A team player that is detail-oriented, organized, motivated, and creative
Creativity, imagination and an entrepreneurial attitude towards fundraising
Must have good judgment, sense of humor, and the ability to handle confidential matters
What You’ll Bring:
Associate’s degree required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
3+ years of experience in related work required
Proficiency in donor constituent database systems Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge and NXT preferred (or ability to be trained in Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge/NXT software with best practices and adherence to IRS philanthropic gift substantiation standards.)
