Title: Block Time RN, Lewiston
What You’ll Do:
Provide patient/caretaker with adequate knowledge to make informed decisions and judgments by teaching preventive care and helping family identify health problems.
Promote patient/family independence in accepting responsibility for care.
Provide supportive physical, emotional and spiritual care.
Provide personal care.
Evaluate home/family safety. Make recommendations for improvements and elimination of hazards.
Contribute to the assessment of community health needs, health education, and participate in preventive health activities.
What You’ll Bring:
At least 1 year of recent acute care nursing or equivalent experience. Community health nursing experience desirable.
Current RN license in the State of Maine & CPR Certification.
Must have reliable transportation with insurance and a current Maine Driver’s license.
