As an LPN, you are responsible for providing basic medical attention to patients and assessing their well being as part of a larger medical team. Their duties include checking vital signs, handling patient's prescriptions, recording a patient's medical history, and assisting patients with hygiene.
LPN Responsibilities:
- Grooming and bathing patients with low mobility
- Preparing each patient's room with necessary items such as blankets, pillows, medical equipment and toiletries
- Helping patients eat and take medications
- Making sure patients have regular meals and proper nutrition.
- Monitoring vitals and behavior and reporting them to the
nursing and medical staff
- Transferring patients with low mobility from wheelchair to bed and vice versa
- Turning or adjusting patients in bed to prevent bedsores
- More when required.
Requirements:
- Driver's License.
- Passport, Social Security Card, or Birth Certificate (at least one).
- Nursing License.
- Direct Deposit Information.
- Physical (within the last 30 days).
- Current PPD (2-step, Chest X-ray, etc.).
- Proof of lnfluenza/COVID Vaccinations (if applicable).
- CPR Certified (required for RNs and LPNs).
- Pass Background Check/ Drug Screening.
