Job Title: Welder

Job Description

We are hiring full-time individuals looking for experienced welders and welder apprentices in a fast-paced environment. We are expanding our team and seeking motivated individuals to become great assets to our company.

Responsibilities

• Weld chassis, wall sections, and/or roof sections together by following a blueprint.

• Perform basic MIG welding and tacking on axles, wheels, and hitches (for apprentices).

• Train and progress to structural steel beams and fabrication over time.

Essential Skills

• Prior welding experience (for experienced welders).

• Training from LCCTC or similar programs, or 1-2 years of welding experience (for apprentices).

• Good attitude and willingness to learn.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in MIG welding.

• Knowledge of AWS D1.1 standards.

• .045 Flux wire and .035 MIG proficiency.

• Stick welding skills.

• Ability to use a tape measure fluently.

• Blueprint reading (MUST HAVE).

Work Environment

The work environment is a pre-fabrication commercial building manufacturer. It is team-oriented, and employees are expected to keep working and find tasks to do during slower times, maintain a clean work area, and assist co-workers as needed.
