Hiring Press Assistant

Job Description

This position is responsible for assisting the Press Operator in preparing and running the press machine for prints, specifically in a manufacturing facility that produces food packaging. Primary duties include assisting in preparing press and all job components for a print job, conducting hourly checks of ink viscosity to ensure quality, making changes to inks as needed during printing, removing finished film off machine and loading it onto pallets for pick up, and assisting with other duties as assigned by the operator and supervisor.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Lenexa, Kansas.

Work Environment

Manufacturing facility. Distinct smell of inks and solvents. Clean environment, hair nets and ear plugs required. Shifts available: 10 Hour Nights: 9pm - 7am Mon-Thurs, WKND Days: 7am - 7pm Fri-Sun
