Job Title: Electrical Support Representative
Job Description
Help customers resolve issues with the hazardous monitoring system. You will track problematic sites and create reports about reported problems to help improve the customer experience. You will collect feedback from customers for further evaluation and potential product improvements. You will bench test the site scenarios to replicate problems and help to solve them. You will have the opportunity to study the system and apply your expertise in improvements and testing. This position requires knowledge in electronics as it helps solve problems efficiently.
Responsibilities
Provide phone and email support to end-customers and integration partners.
Provide demos of the system to end-customers and integration partners to ensure a good understanding of the product and its use.
Maintain a log of tech support cases and do follow-ups.
Create reports of outstanding issues for further investigation.
Troubleshoot test bench hardware using test equipment such as a multimeter or oscilloscope.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to support engineering and production.
Participate in product testing.

High school diploma
Preferred: Degree or diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering discipline OR Military/relevant job experience
MS Office skills along with good verbal and writing skills
Experience in tech support
Knowledge of PLC ladder logic
Basic knowledge of communication protocols such as Modbus RTU, ModbusTCP, and EthernetIP
Programming skills
Desire to learn
Valid driver’s license and Passport
Work Environment
In this role, you will work with the engineering and testing team, allowing you to gain more electronic/electric knowledge and potentially programming skills. You will have the opportunity to expand your technical knowledge and skills while helping to protect human life and property. The work environment focuses on safety at commercial grain elevator sites and provides unparalleled hazardous monitoring systems suitable for explosive dust and gas environments. You may be required to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally and up to 10 lbs. frequently. You will need manual dexterity rarely for writing and handling small items, and a firm grasp continuously. The work environment includes being inside 95% of the day and outside 5% to check sites.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
