Naval Facilities Engineering Command SUPERVISORY FACILITIES MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in Lemoore, California
Summary You will serve as a Facilities Management Division Director Public Works Department Lemoore of NAVFAC SOUTHWEST. Responsibilities You will supervise requirements for Branch Head and Real Property Management Branch Head. You will advise Installation and Tenant Leadership regarding facility planning, requirements, and facilities financial controls. You will manage and direct the development, prioritization, and execution of all Region and local PW Maintenance action Plans including Maintenance Execution Plan (MEP), Maintenance Action Plan (MAP), and Long-Range Maintenance Plan (LRMP). You will be responsible to manage and execute CNIC direct funds and tenant reimbursable funding according to OPNAV and Navy Region Southwest Guidelines. You will regularly communicate to NASL facility and utility program requirements to CNIC Region and Installation tenant commands. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Applying Public Works Management principles and practices related to budgeting, planning, financial management, and work execution; 2) Leading, directing, and/or managing people and processes in a multi-disciplined/multi-cultural facilities maintenance, engineering, and acquisition organization; 3) Communicating orally and in writing to deal effectively within a command or organization structure as well as with external constituents such as local and state political entities, regulatory, and advisory boards/commissions; and 4) Advising a command or organization on facilities management requirements.
