Responsibilities

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday, between the hours of 6:00am and 6:00pm, to include a unch break

No Weekends, No Holidays

No Call, No Call-Back

Job Specific Position Duties: The duties include, but are not limited to the following:

CORE Duties:

• Prepare treatment areas for incoming patients.

• Administer complex, specialized supportive physiotherapy treatment in areas such as ultrasound, electrotherapy, and therapeutic hot/cold and therapeutic exercise in support of chiropractic treatments in the clinic in a safe and medically accepted manner as directed by the supervisor.

• Instruct and supervise patient exercise programs.

• Report unusual patient treatment response or hazardous or malfunctioning equipment to the supervisor immediately.

• Documents patient history, reported subjective symptoms, care interventions provided, response to interventions, observations, and patient education in the electronic health record as directed by the provider and according to established protocols. Reports any abnormalities to the provider immediately.

In addition to the duties listed in the basic contract, the following additional or supplemental duties are required for HCWs on this TO. The duties for the HCW are as follows but not limited to:

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

* Education: Attend a formal training program as a chiropractic assistant, nursing assistant, physical therapy assistant, operating room technician or other similar medically related support type occupation.

* Experience: Minimum 1 year experience as a Chiropractic Assistant or similar position

* License: if required by the state

* Board Certification: N/A

* Life Support Certifications: BLS

* Security: Must be able to pass a Government background check and obtain a Government security clearance.

Pay Scale: $25/hr to $35/hr, to be determined based on employment options, qualifications, experience, and location
