Knowledge of AC and DC electrical theory and basic electronics. Familiar with functions of installing of basic elec. components (generators, lights, switches, relays). Good general mechanical aptitude, including the skill to use basic hand and measuring tools and electrical testing equipment. Must have ability to follow electrical code, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints and other specs. Must have ability to install a variety of components and systems on customer vehicles located in the shop in a timely and efficient manner. Troubleshoot and repair elec problems. Ability to inspect all vehicles after installation. Repairs electrical systems and equipment by diagnosing malfunctioning apparatus, troubleshooting, inspecting and testing abilities required. Repairs and replaces faulty electrical components by using testing equipment and hand tools to install relays, switches, motors, circuit boards, etc. Skilled with general hand tool. Knowledge of 3 phase wiring. Ability to define and solve problems without assistance. Must be punctual, good work ethic, meet deadlines in fast paced environment. 30 minute unpaid lunch provided.
