Description

We are seeking a Project Manager/Sr. Consultant with a focus on cloud computing technologies, specifically AWS services, to join our team in Lehi, Utah. The successful candidate will provide leadership throughout the entire migration project, serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, coordinate resources, manage potential risks, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership throughout all phases of the migration project, including planning, execution, and post-migration.

• Utilize deep knowledge of cloud computing technologies, particularly AWS services, to bring valuable technical insights to the migration process and overcome technical challenges effectively.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, risks, and issues.

• Coordinate resources, including cloud engineers, developers, and other team members, to ensure efficient collaboration and utilization of skills.

• Identify potential risks and challenges associated with cloud migrations and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.

• Ensure there are robust testing and operational processes to validate the successful migration of applications and data to the cloud.

• Document migration processes, configurations, and best practices to facilitate knowledge transfer within the organization.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance staff training, migration methodologies, tools, and processes.

• Oversee budgetary governance for the project, including staffing plans, consulting/partner budget, and cloud spend plan.

Requirements

• Possession of a minimum of 5 years of experience in the role of Project Manager/Sr. Consultant.

• Demonstrated proficiency in Budget Processes and Deliverable.

• Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) is required.

• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) is essential.

• Proven experience with Cloud implementations.

• Knowledge of Release Automation is necessary.

• Prior experience with DevOps is a must.

• Background as an IC required.
