Description

We are seeking a Solr Systems Engineer to join our team, operating in the industry. The role is based in Utah, United States and offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Handle the deployment and management of Solr 4 and 8.

• Utilize monitoring tools such as Splunk to identify and rectify complex problems.

• Develop and uphold PowerShell and Bash scripts for task automation and system management.

• Leverage configuration management tools like Ansible and Chef to automate and orchestrate systems.

• Operate efficiently within Windows environments.

• Utilize version control tools effectively.

• Manage distributed systems using Apache Kafka and ZooKeeper.

Requirements • Proficiency in Apache Solr is essential.

• Demonstrated experience in PowerShell Scripting is required.

• Familiarity with ZooKeeper is a must.
