Description

We are in search of an Assistant Controller to join our team based in Lehi, United States. The Assistant Controller will play a pivotal role in managing the company's accounting operations and ensuring the accuracy of reported financial results in line with GAAP. The individual will also be involved in financial planning, analysis, internal controls, and audit support.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.

• Oversee the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, reporting any variances.

• Ensure the timely publication of monthly financial statements.

• Implement quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.

• Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.

• Strengthen internal controls by developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies.

• Prepare for the annual audit and liaise with external auditors.

• Support workflow process improvements and special projects.

• Utilize accounting software systems for efficient administration.

• Execute month-end close procedures and ensure the accurate preparation of financial statements.

• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, as well as billing functions.

• Adhere to DCAA regulations and utilize tools such as ADP - Financial Services, Concur, and Crystal Reports.

Requirements • Proficient in Accounting Software Systems

• Knowledgeable in ADP - Financial Services

• Experienced with Concur software

• Familiar with Crystal Reports

• Understanding of DCAA requirements

• Ability to handle all Accounting Functions

• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Auditing procedures

• Ability to handle Billing Functions

• Proficient in Financial Statement Preparation

• Experience in Month End Close process
