What you will be doing:
This position is responsible for the daily management of Tingley departments, ensuring all customer requirements and productivity are met in line with departmental KPIs. Lead by example and act as role models for our team, our site, and the business in line with Credo values
What impact you will also have:
Manage Compliance requirements for machinery key to Department unit, to enable the effective running of the area.
Inventory management.
Development of reports to support operational needs.
Product storage, layout and rationalisation to facilitate increased productivity and continuous improvement in inventory accuracy.
Co-ordinate work and maintain a team of people trained to work within department.
Identify, support and implement process improvements and drive efficiencies.
Manage any changes and communicate effectively within department. Identify, develop and implement appropriate training when/ where applicable.
Excellent understanding of Departmental KPI’s.
Perform additional duties as determined by senior management.
Liaise with all relevant departments across the organization.
Develop appropriate system and procedure knowledge, to be able to respond to issues from external and internal customers.
Ensure self & team adhere to compliance to all company policies and work instructions.
Follow all requirements for Quality assurance and audits.
Lead performance management reviews.
Responsible for managing inventory accuracy within department.
Management of attendance in line with company policies.
Performance Management and coaching to enhance department performance and develop a strong team.
Encourage and support the training and development of all team members.
Manage resource and additional hours to meet departmental target.
Ensure all departmental activities are processed within agreed KPI’s.
Lead by example by applying credo values in an open and ethical manner.
Actively monitor and address Quality and HS&E issues when necessary to ensure the DC meets Compliance targets.
Support quality assurance and EHS audits.
Qualifications
We would love to hear from you, if you have the following essential requirements:
Minimum 2 years of people leadership experience.
Strong Customer focus with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
Strong people Leadership experience with the ability to influence and inspire teams to achieve individual and departmental goals.
In-depth understanding of the objectives of Distribution and how they fit into the wider context.
Knowledge of work instructions and SOP’s.
Ability to work independently, lead by example and encourage others.
Strong Analytical & problems solving skills.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Time management and priority setting.
