Position Summary

We are looking for an Associate Product Warranty Specialist to join our team!

Our Associate Product Warranty Specialist role is the primary contact at the Distribution Center for all Market Assurance/Quality/warranty issues or concerns. This position assists with coordinate with Distribution Center logistics to manage product receiving and scrapping needs. The Product Warranty Specialist is responsible for ensuring cage inventory, coordination of shipping, safety requirements and workspace is maintained and also for conducting physical inspections of products demonstrating manufacturing conditions to determine if condition is a result of abuse or manufacturing. This role would be the SME for warranty adjustment program VIEW.

Responsibilities

In this role, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assists with supporting phone center during high volume peaks/PTO coverage

  • Responsible for providing a signal back to Product Engineering as needed to drive Early Warning awareness and drive actions as needed. Including RTR and Adhoc RTR

  • Maintain warranty tools, adjustment software, excel files and associated documentation as needed.

  • Support Special project from Corporate as needed including: HoloLens and Surveys

  • Drives ongoing Calibration/training to ensure team remains current and identify training needs

  • Maintain all warranty resource information i.e., service bulletins; recall information, etc.

  • Remain current with Bridgestone Warranty terms and new tire/product launch training

  • Active participation in ongoing Calibration/training including onsite training as needed.

  • Assist in the development of operational and organizational improvements through collaboration, teamwork, and communication with impacted departments

  • Maintaining corporate assigned KPI requirements. Including: tire per hour and blue code validation

  • Maintaining corporate assigned KPI requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years Team Lead experience (preferred)

  • Ability to update or write work instructions and update warranty pamphlets.

  • Ability to safely lift and/or maneuver 100 lb. tires is required.

  • Limited travel for training, customer sites, and to Bridgestone Distribution centers as needed to assist with backlog as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent work experience
