A manufacturer in Southeastern PA is looking for a Sr. Engineer. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in engineering or four years of experience in a manufacturing setting. Should have a working knowledge of PLCs and design software. Must be able to lead a design and maintenance staff. Salary and benefits.

responsibilities:

Ensure all building facilities, plant equipment, and molds are maintained for optimum operating efficiency.

Minimize downtime due to equipment breakdown.

Provide Maintenance Supervisor with training tools and compliance reminders on OSHA safety guidelines/ procedures to push down to the Maintenance team.

Design and develop new molds and direct improvements for existing molds.

Coordinate and direct outside contractor operations through requisition approvals, within scope of authority, and monitoring contractor activities in conjunction with Maintenance Supervisor and Managing Director.

Control cost of supplies, equipment, and labor hours in line with budgetary requirements.

Effectively prioritize facility and machine maintenance activities to meet production schedule/ goals.

Implement effective inventory maintenance and control procedures.

Collaborate with Accounting to reduce inventory variance through periodic cycle counts.

Conduct regular meetings with all direct reports to ensure teammates understand how their roles contribute to the organization's success.

Develop managerial plan for achieving department goals.
