Dartmouth Health Physical Therapy Assistant in Lebanon, New Hampshire

Overview

Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our large inpatient rehabilitation team. In this role, you will treat patients after surgery, illness, or injury. The patient populations range from pediatrics to geriatrics, and spans numerous service lines. Our ideal candidate would have some hospital experience, however orientation is comprehensive to meet the needs of the individual.

Responsibilities

• Performs treatment of patients following program developed by a Physical Therapist

• Documents treatment goals and patient's progress

• Provides education/instruction to patients and families

• Participates in and supports departmental programs such as in-service education, student programs, volunteer/observation programs, Professional Practice Committee, etc.

• Performs other duties as required or assigned

Qualifications

  • Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (AA degree).

Required Licensure/Certifications

  • Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (AA degree).

  • New Hampshire licensure required.

  • BLS certification required.

  • Area of Interest:Allied Health;

  • FTE/Hours per pay period:0.45 - 18 hrs/per week;
