If you are a manufacturing professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Copeland/Lebanon Compressors has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in Lebanon Mo, you will work in the machining technical support team to accomplish the manufacturing goals safety, quality, productivity, and cost. Monitor key manufacturing objectives and develop and execute projects that helps to eliminate obstacles in hitting our departmental/plant KPI’s. You will direct technical planning, purchasing, installation, and qualification of new equipment and products in the machining department.

AS A MANUFACTURING ENGINEER, YOU WILL:

  • Conceptualizes, develops, and initiates process improvements and cost reductions

  • Use Lean principles to reduce cycle times and reduce waste throughout the plant

  • Manage projects from concept and design to appropriation approval, qualifications and full business integration. Will often involve leading a team through a project.

  • Self-initiate improvement and / or corrective actions for safety, quality, cost and productivity concerns using analytical data

  • Develop documentation for operators and maintenance on proper equipment operation and care

  • Create and updated CNC machining programs

  • Update plant drawings, maintenance plans, and documentation as projects require

  • Effectively communication changes to all levels of the organization and at all stages of implementation

  • Create and maintain a Visual Factory program to help monitor our processes and performance

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • BS degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering technology degree and experience

  • 5 years’ experience technical or technical support role

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and proven leadership experience

  • Previous project management experience

  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • 5+ years’ experience in a high volume, manufacturing environment

  • Background in CNC Machining and Automated processes

  • Fanuc robotics, Allen-Bradley PLC experience

  • Previous experience with drafting software (Designer, Solid Works, NX, Pro-E, …)
